Preview: WISH Academy Owls vs. Wilson Mules
WISH Academy has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Wilson Mules at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in WISH Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only WISH Academy walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Wolfpack with a sharp 65-45 win on Wednesday. WISH Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.
WISH Academy can attribute much of their success to Noah Tureaud, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five steals, and Keith Hartman, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Hartman posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Caizaiah Williams, who scored six points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Wilson was beaten by Eagle Rock 78-35 on Friday.
WISH Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Wilson, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.
