Softball Recap: Catalina Foothills Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Catalina Foothills's offense. They lost 18-0 to the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts on Friday.

Catalina Foothills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Mica Mountain, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Looking ahead, Catalina Foothills will venture away from home to face off against Maricopa at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Mica Mountain, they will welcome Walden Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Red Wolves will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Thunderbolts surely won't give up without a fight.
