Soccer Recap: Excel Academy Charter Comes Up Short

Excel Academy Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Boston Collegiate Hurricanes. While losing is never fun, Excel Academy Charter can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 237th, while Boston Collegiate are ranked 82nd).

Excel Academy Charter's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Boston Collegiate, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Excel Academy Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Boston Collegiate, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Pioneer Charter School of Science on the 28th.
