Basketball Recap: Rich Hill Takes a Loss

Rich Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 68-52 fall against the Osceola Indians. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Indians are ranked 100th).

Osceola got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Laney Uchtman out in front who went 9 of 17 on her way to 21 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Taryn Wood, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Rich Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Osceola, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

Rich Hill will challenge Hartville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Osceola, they will square off against Drexel at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
