Baseball Game Preview: Roncalli Jets vs. Sheboygan Area Lutheran Crusaders

The Roncalli Jets will take on the Sheboygan Area Lutheran Crusaders at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Roncalli fell victim to Kiel and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The loss put an end to the Jets' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Sheboygan Area Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Oostburg, falling 10-4. On the bright side, the four- run effort marked the Crusaders' highest-scoring game to date.

Sheboygan Area Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Roncalli, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Roncalli took their win against Sheboygan Area Lutheran in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Jets repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
