La Salette Academy had won four straight games and John Brauner did his part to make it five on Saturday. The La Salette Academy Lions blew past the Urbana University Illineks 56-12 thanks in part to Brauner, who went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points and four steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in February of 2024.

La Salette Academy pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 34.5% in those games and 26.4% outside of them. As for Urbana University, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.
