Softball Game Preview: Wiscasset Wolverines vs. Richmond Bobcats

The Wiscasset Wolverines will square off against the Richmond Bobcats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wiscasset is leaving town to face Richmond after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Wolverines came up short against Valley on Friday, falling 25-3.

Meanwhile, Richmond had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 15-5 to Valley.

Breonna Dufresne made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last 12 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlotte Crawson, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.
