Softball Recap: Weatherford's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mansfield Legacy, Weatherford was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the North Crowley Panthers a 7-0 shutout. The Kangaroos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Weatherford's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6. As for North Crowley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Weatherford and North Crowley will both be playing Boswell the next time they take the field. North Crowley will head out to face Boswell at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, while Weatherford will host them at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
