While Tuesday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Emily Smith. She wasn't messing around on Tuesday, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with six or more strikeouts.

Coming up, Smith and Minisink Valley will head out on the road to take on Cornwall Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors have been dominating on the road and they will enter the contest having won nine straight away games dating back to last season.
