Science Hill had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They never let the Daniel Boone Trailblazers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-3 back in March.

Science Hill's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Daniel Boone, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Looking ahead, Science Hill will face off against Christian Academy of Knoxville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Daniel Boone, they are taking a road trip to square off against Morristown-Hamblen West at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
