Arendell Parrott Academy dropped down to 17-5 on Thursday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell just short of Faith Christian by a score of 3-2. Arendell Parrott Academy was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Faith Christian earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Georgia Fanning paced Arendell Parrott Academy's offense, picking up 29 kills. Fanning got some help from Jaiden Lucas and her 46 assists. Fanning was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

As for Faith Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since September 5, 2024.

Faith Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emily Wells led the charge by getting 20 assists and four digs. That's the most assists Wells has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Camp, who had 15 digs.

Arendell Parrott Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Cape Fear Academy on the 7th. As for Faith Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Liberty Christian Academy on the 6th.
