Basketball Recap: Capital Jaguars vs. Manzano Monarchs

The victory was some much needed relief for the Jaguars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The dominant performance gave Johnson a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Youngberg, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.
Capital's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-12. As for Manzano, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
