Basketball Recap: Linden Finds Home Court Redemption Against Union

There's no place like home for Linden, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-51 win over the Union Farmers on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Linden is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Union, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Linden will head out to challenge Union Catholic on Sunday. Union has already played their next match (against Westfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
