Recap: Venice Indians vs. Immokalee Indians
The Venice Indians extended their postseason success on Friday against the Immokalee Indians. They blew past the Indians, posting a 56-14 win at home. Winning may never get old, but Venice sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Venice can attribute much of their success to Jadyn Glasser, who threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Jamarice Wilder, who rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.
Venice's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35 points. As for Immokalee, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Venice's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Riverview Sarasota at 7:30 p.m. on November 24th. One thing working in Riverview Sarasota's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four matchups. Immokalee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
