Soccer Recap: Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Comes Up Short

If Nansemond-Suffolk Academy was feeling good fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Peninsula Catholic last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Saints came up short against the Hampton Roads Academy Navigators on Thursday, falling 5-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-2-1. As for Hampton Roads Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.
