Lake View stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 63-36 victory over Latta. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-15.
Lake View had a senior duo take command as Jaleya Ford scored 29 points and Gwendasia Page scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Page has scored all season. Ta'Kiyah Waters was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Dillon Christian can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They breezed by Southeastern Christian Academy on the road to the tune of 50-20. Dillon Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Lake View's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Dillon Christian, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-5.
Everything came up roses for Lake View against Dillon Christian when the teams last played back in November of 2023 as the squad secured a 62-26 victory. With Lake View ahead 32-11 at the half, the match was all but over already.
