Softball Recap: San Mateo Comes Up Short

San Mateo and Hillsdale squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but San Mateo had to settle for second. They fell 4-1 to the Fighting Knights. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Fighting Knights this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-1 defeat on May 13th.

Alice Han made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run and one double. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

San Mateo's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Hillsdale, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-9-1.

As of now, neither San Mateo nor the Fighting Knights have any future games scheduled.
