Volleyball Recap: Crean Lutheran Takes a Loss

If Crean Lutheran was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Westminster last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Crean Lutheran came up short against the El Toro Chargers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Saints seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

While Crean Lutheran had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-23.

Crean Lutheran now has a losing record of 10-11. As for El Toro, their record is now 9-10.

Coming up, Crean Lutheran will head out to take on Rancho Alamitos at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for El Toro, they will be taking part in a tournament against Tustin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
