Volleyball Recap: South Pittsburg Comes Up Short

South Pittsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Dade County Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Thursday.

South Pittsburg was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8, 25-22.

South Pittsburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dade County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, South Pittsburg will take on Whitwell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dade County, they will face off against Ringgold at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
