Softball Recap: Storm Lake Makes It Ten in a Row on the Road

Storm Lake put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove Falcons by a score of 8-3. The Tornadoes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Storm Lake pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Storm Lake will challenge Spirit Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
