Basketball Recap: Trinity Presbyterian Comes Up Short

Trinity Presbyterian lost against Montgomery Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats lost to the Montgomery Academy Eagles on the road by a 66-49 margin. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Eagles are ranked 23rd).

Trinity Presbyterian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Montgomery Academy, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-2.

Trinity Presbyterian has already played their next match (against Montgomery Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Montgomery Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Thorsby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
