While Wellston's victory against Southern wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Golden Rockets had just enough and edged out the Tornadoes 7-6. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Rockets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Lyla Pittenger was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 6.2 innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.
