Baseball Recap: Drumright Victorious

While Drumright's victory against Mounds wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tornadoes had just enough and edged out the Golden Eagles 6-5 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Garett Wright, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Drumright is 2-1 when Wright posts three or more hits, but 2-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Carsen Mattox, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Drumright's record now sits at 4-11. As for Mounds, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
