Big game from Jefferson as Lockland fell 15-14
While Lockland might've come up empty on Tuesday, Amiya Jefferson wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the loss, Jefferson was still locked in as she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, a triple, and two RBI.
Jefferson and Lockland will head out on the road to face off against Cincinnati Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lockland has some work to do to even out the 1-8-1 series between these two since May of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
