Jake Lane leads Halls to victory over Karns

The Halls Red Devils's game on Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on Karns with a sharp 81-59 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Jake Lane, who scored 26 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Halls' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chandler Gamble, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds.
The victory got Halls back to even at 7-7. As for Karns, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.
Halls is on the road again on Thursday and play against Wren at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th. Wren has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Karns will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Farragut at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
