Recap: Ayden - Grifton Chargers vs. Southern Wayne Saints
On Thursday, Ayden - Grifton suffered a tough 49-28 loss at the hands of Southern Wayne. Ayden - Grifton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-9.
Southern Wayne's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nevaeh Hines-Bass led the charge by scoring 24 points along with three steals. Those 24 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Nygeria Thompson, who scored 14 points.
