Football Recap: Jefferson Township Comes Up Short

Jefferson Township lost against West Milford back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons were dealt a 34-6 loss at the hands of the Highlanders. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jefferson Township's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for West Milford, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jefferson Township is set to challenge their familiar foe Lakeland Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Milford will square off against rival Dover at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
