Cigarroa entered their tilt with Mission Veterans Memorial on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 42-35 victory over the Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 32-25 back in December of 2024.

Mission Veterans Memorial lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Isabella Canizalez, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 19 boards. Canizalez is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Sarah Barrientos, who went 5 of 11 en route to 14 points.

The win got Cigarroa back to even at 14-14. As for Mission Veterans Memorial, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-15.

Cigarroa will host Mission at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mission Veterans Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
