Softball Recap: Hudson Drops Highest Score of Season Against Rusk

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hudson). They were the clear victors by a 23-3 margin over the Rusk Eagles on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win was the third in a row for Hudson, bringing their record up to 14-11-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Rusk, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hudson beat the Eagles by a score of 11-5 on Friday.
