Highland had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Wakefield School Fighting Owls on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Fighting Owls, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Highland took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-13.

Avery Hillygus paced Highland's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hillygus got some help from Olivia Dart and her 21 assists. Dart was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

The victory got Highland back to even at 5-5. As for Wakefield School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Highland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against The Covenant School on the 7th. As for Wakefield School, they will face off against Randolph-Macon Academy at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th.
