West Park had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the River Valley Falcons on Friday as they made off with a 73-48 win. The Panthers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since December 28, 2024 (when they won 62-37).

West Park got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaden Jackson out in front who went 6-for-13 on his way to 16 points in addition to six assists and six boards. Another player making a difference was Chimobi Nnaji, who posted 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: West Park was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as River Valley only posted seven.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aidan Eberhart, who had six points.

West Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 89-73 win against Roseville on the 25th. As for River Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-64 defeat against Lincoln on the 25th.
