Baseball Recap: Paramount Takes a Loss

Paramount suffered their biggest defeat since April 4, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Norwalk Lancers, falling 8-1. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Paramount got a good showing from Jeramy Quezada, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Paramount saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luis Banuelos, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Paramount's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Norwalk, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Looking ahead, Paramount will take on Downey at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Downey will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Paramount surely won't give up without a fight. As for Norwalk, they will face off against Dominguez at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
