Soccer Game Preview: Berean Christian vs. Ygnacio Valley

The Berean Christian Eagles will face off against the Ygnacio Valley Wolves at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Berean Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season.

Berean Christian's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Concord as Berean Christian made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Angie Chang and Hannah Morrell scored all three of Berean Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, Ygnacio Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Mt. Diablo on Thursday and fell 2-1.

Ygnacio Valley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9-2 record this season. As for Berean Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which somehow still isn't as good as their 8-1-1 record this season.

Berean Christian took their victory against Ygnacio Valley in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Will Berean Christian repeat their success, or does Ygnacio Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
