Bedford is 8-2 against Greater Johnstown since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Julius Reed and Carson Nagle. Nagle had a great game and threw for 231 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt. Meanwhile, Reed was balling out in the loss, rushing for 209 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 66 yards and a touchdown.

Even if they lost, Greater Johnstown's defensive line still kept up the pressure with six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Elijah Murphy and Ronnison Edwards, who racked up four sacks between them.

Bedford's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Greater Johnstown, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Friday's match might be decided in the on the ground. Bedford has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 167.4 rushing yards per game.
