Basketball Recap: United Comes Up Short

United lost against Southern back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The United Golden Eagles fell just short of the Southern Indians by a score of 41-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Golden Eagles have suffered against the Indians since January 26, 2022.

United has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Southern, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. United won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against David Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
