Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denton). They blew past the North Mesquite Stallions 9-0 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Broncos have posted since March 1, 2024.

Jimmy Turner looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Phoenix Oliver, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

Denton now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for North Mesquite, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Denton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Haltom on the 27th. As for North Mesquite, they will take on Grand Prairie at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. North Mesquite is facing Grand Prairie at the right time seeing as Grand Prairie is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
