Brush is 9-1 against Strasburg since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Beetdiggers are taking a road trip to take on the Indians at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Monday just wasn't the day for Brush's offense. They lost 8-0 to Platte Valley on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Beetdiggers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Strasburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of Byers. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by just one run.

The defeat snapped Brush's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-6 record. As for Strasburg, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Brush came out on top in a nail-biter against Strasburg in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Beetdiggers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
