Recap: Odessa Ducks vs. McKean Highlanders
The Odessa Ducks had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They breezed by McKean at home to the tune of 52-12. That looming 52-12 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Odessa yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why McKean lost, one person who can't be blamed is Alexis Barlow. Despite the final result, she scored four points along with two steals.
Odessa has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for McKean, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
