Lindbergh came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Howell Vikings. That's more bragging rights for the Flyers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

John Dobbs paced Lindbergh's offense, picking up ten kills. Dobbs got some help from Cohen Boehm and his 17 assists. Boehm also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Alex Ahrens, racking up three apiece.

Lindbergh's win bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Howell, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Lindbergh has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Marquette on the 26th. As for Howell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Parkway Central on the 26th.
