Baseball Game Preview: Napoleon Wildcats vs. Bowling Green Bobcats

For the second straight game, Napoleon will face off against Bowling Green. The Wildcats will challenge the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Napoleon has four straight wins, Bowling Green has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Napoleon is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over Bowling Green on Monday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

Blaine Ford was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Ford was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Parker Woods was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-5. Eric Hershberger was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Napoleon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bowling Green only managed six hits.

Napoleon's record now sits at 4-1. As for Bowling Green, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
