Football Recap: Sterling Jets vs. Lewiston Tigers
Sterling was the 59-21 winner over Lewiston when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jets took a 40-26 bruising from the Tigers on Friday.
Brody Horstman threw for 136 yards on nine of 19 attempts. Colt Little was his top target, picking up 62 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Beau Kaster rushed for 71 yards.
Sterling's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Lewiston, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.
Sterling does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lewiston, they will challenge Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Roughriders have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
