Etiwanda got a massive performance out of Ava Reyes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI Reyes has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Karrington Bennett, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Etiwanda was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .607. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in three consecutive games.
Etiwanda's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Aquinas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
