Soccer Game Preview: Greenville Christian Academy vs. Living Water Christian

The Greenville Christian Academy Knights will head out to challenge the Living Water Christian Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Living Water Christian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Greenville Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.

Greenville Christian Academy was handed a five-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Liberty Christian Academy, sneaking past 2-1.

Meanwhile, Living Water Christian came up short against Hilltop Christian on Thursday, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Living Water Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 400th, while Hilltop Christian are ranked 128th).

Greenville Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Living Water Christian, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Greenville Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Living Water Christian when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
