Basketball Recap: Blanket Piles Up the Points Against Priddy

Blanket was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Priddy on Saturday. The Blanket Tigers blew past the Priddy Pirates 56-29. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season.

Blanket was led to victory by Dallas Schumaker and Kannon Kensing. Schumaker went 8 of 16 on his way to 19 points and five steals, while Kensing almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Aultman, who posted nine points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.

Blanket's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Priddy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Blanket will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Rochelle at 7:30 p.m. Priddy and Richland Springs will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
