Basketball Recap: Tuscarora Has No Trouble Against Dominion

Tuscarora won the last time they faced Dominion and things went their way on Friday too. The Tuscarora Huskies put the hurt on the Dominion Titans with a sharp 77-51 victory. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Titans are ranked 300th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tuscarora is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Dominion, their defeat was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Tuscarora will square off against Loudoun Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Loudoun Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Tuscarora surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dominion, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Loudoun County at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
