Soccer Game Preview: Ragsdale vs. Northern Guilford

Ragsdale is 0-8-1 against Northern Guilford since March of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The Tigers will host the Nighthawks at 6:00 p.m. Ragsdale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Northern Guilford better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Ragsdale's game on Monday is any indication, that's when Ragsdale really gets things going. The Tigers' defense stepped up to hand Western Guilford a 3-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for Ragsdale in their matchups with Western Guilford: they've now won four in a row.

Northern Guilford pushed their record up to 14-6-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven matchups. As for Ragsdale, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
