Baseball Game Preview: Louisville Wildcats vs. Quitman Panthers

Louisville hasn't had much luck against Quitman recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wildcats will take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Louisville didn't have quite enough to beat East Webster and fell 7-6.

Tyler Glenn made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Jaylan Crosby also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Quitman took on Meridian on Saturday. The Panthers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 19-11.

Quitman's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Louisville, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.

Louisville couldn't quite get it done against Quitman in their previous matchup back in February as they fell 13-9. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
