Baseball Recap: Haldane Comes Up Short

Haldane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-3 to the Dobbs Ferry Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 last Thursday.

Haldane saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lincoln McCarthy, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Hudson Yeaple also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Haldane's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Dobbs Ferry, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Haldane will be playing at home against Briarcliff at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. As for Dobbs Ferry, they will take on Putnam Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
