Volleyball Recap: Southern Christian Comes Up Short

Southern Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Evangel Christian Lightning. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lightning this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-4.

Southern Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Evangel Christian, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Southern Christian will square off against rival Guardian Christian Athletics at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Evangel Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Ezekiel Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
