Basketball Game Preview: Joseph Eagles vs. Wallowa Cougars

Joseph has gone 8-2 against Wallowa recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Joseph Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Wallowa Cougars at 5:30 p.m.

Last Saturday, Joseph was beaten by Union 87-42. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Bobcats are ranked 95th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wallowa). They enjoyed a cozy 61-46 victory over Pine Eagle on Saturday.

Joseph dropped their record down to 5-14 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Wallowa, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-15 record this season.
